But it will cause a great error in evaluating a low permeability gas well productivity because the gas well will cost a long time to reach a pseudo steady state. To resolve the problem, based on backpressure test theory and superposition principle, this paper designed a new test method, named Backpressure Isochronal Test. It can accurately evlauate the productivity of gas wells with low permeability in a short test time which approximately equals to the time the single-point method needs.
