%X Blake Ridge is one of the pop regions to study hydrate, with a large array of background knowledge. It's a good example for correlation analysis about hydrate research. This article dissertates the geological conditions and geochemical characteristics of hydrate formation, and the history and development of hydrate research on the Blake Ridge area. Specially, it introduces the methods to estimate the amount of hydrate and concludes several authors' resource estimate.
