%X Taking methane hydrate decomposition as a particle shrinking process, this paper has built a dynamic model for methane hydrate decomposition under the conditions of decompression and uniform temperature by macroscopical gas-solid reaction dynamic methods,and has deduced an decomposition rate equation. Experimental data and their dynamic analysis indicated that decomposition rate was controlled by pervasion process of gas in the ice layer below zero centigrade temperature. By comparing effective diffusion coefficients of methane in ice layer between the calculated one by our model and experimental data aiming to verification of the model, it was shown that results from the model matched experimental data perfectly, which means the high reliability of the model.
