%X By the analysis of the component characteristics of traditional medical knowledge and in combination with the international trends of public opinion in the protection of traditional knowledge , this article puts forward an idea about the protection of traditional medical knowledge in China, maintaining that measures for the protection of patents should be chosen as the primary approach to the protection of discoveries and inventions in the field of traditional medicines, and specifically analyzes the objects of patent protection in traditional medicines.
