%X There are a lot of fault blocks and various kinds of reservoirs in the offshore area of Dagang Oilfield. Fault\|block Zhanghai 5 is an oil\|rim gas condensate reservoir controlled by both structure and lithology. Aiming at the serious heterogeneity and poor longitudinal connectivity in plane, numerical simulations combined with reservoir engineering methods are used to select the reasonable well pattern, well space, well types, and horizontal section length for horizontal wells. At the same time, the best drive type is chosen through comparing different drive types, such as depletion production, cyclic gas injecting, water flooding etc. Two reasonable oil and gas production orders suitable for the gas condensate reservoir are optimized by comparing the effects of oil production early and gas production later, gas production early and oil production later, oil and gas production at the same time. On the basis of different studies on mechanisms, drive types and development methods, various prediction programs for this fault block are compared and analyzed. As a result, the technology program and strategy are optimized for developing the gas condensate reservoir in the offshore area with high efficiency, and development suggestions are proposed as well.
