%X There are many methods which can be used to detect hydrocarbon. In the paper based on the study of wavelet character, three methods that are analyzing the amplitude spectrum of wavelet, distributing of wavelet energy and correlating between wavelets are developed. The examples are used to explain the techniques of analysis and interpretation applied in the three methods. The effect detected are well when the three methods are integrated to detect hydrocarbon, which are testify by several real examples.
