The organisms are widespread in a large number of glycosyltransferase enzymes, and the formation of the super-gene family. GT have been widespread concerning for the importance of plant life and its potential economic value. This article provided an overview of the role of GT in the plant secondary metabolites, describing the gene family and its evolutionary relationship with plant secondary metabolic pathways, and summarizes the cloning methods and new strategies. %K Glycosyltransferase %K plant secondary metabolic pathways
