%X A HPLC-LTQ-FTMS method was developed for separation and identification of malonyl-ginsenosides in white ginseng. An optimized separation condition of acidic ginsenosides present in the ginseng methanolic extracts was given using 15 mmol/L ammonium formate as buffer in mobile phase. Based on high resolution MS, CID spectra and elute order, eight malonyl-ginsenosides were identified in white ginseng sample, including malonyl-ginsenoside Rg1, Re, Rf, Rb1, Rc, Rb2, Rb3, Rd.
