%X Wenxi fault belts lies in the west of Wennan oilfield which lies in the central uplift of Dongpu depression. The structural area of Wenxi fault belts is about 80 km~(2). It's major faults are north-east trending. Wenxi fault belts which has a good condition of oil and gas forming, lies to the east of Haitongji generative sag. The study on structural characters is a main content. This paper describes the characters of major faults in Wenxi fault belts, analyzes the structural types of major faults in Wenxi fault belts and resumes the structural history. And in this paper it is pointed out that the structural development of Wenxi fault belts underwent four stages mainly and the planar and sectional assembly of faults in Wenxi fault belts is described. The distribution of faults controls the structural pattern of this region. On the above base, the control of faults to the distribution and migration of oil and gas is discussed.
