%X Chinese patent medicine are widely used in the clinical practice in China, for its characteristics of high efficacy, little side effects, and easy to use and carry. Nowadays there is a variety of Chinese patent medicine. No matter simple formula or compound formula, they are all made according to the theory of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) principles, methods, formula and medicinals. Their indications demonstrate the principles of syndrome differentiation. Along with the further reform on medical health system, it is important to regulate and manage the clinical application of Chinese patent medicine. In this article we are going to explore some practical solutions in a new classification.
