%X In order to study hydrocarbon accumulation, the studying object, the train of thought and the technique of modeling are discussed. As an example, the hydrocarbon accumulation of north of Wuerxun depression is modeled after the geological model is established. The result is that the source rocks suffered three main periods of hydrocarbon generation and accumulation, but the second is the key of hydrocarbon generation and accumulation. After the hydrocarbon accumulation modeling, the process is reconstructed and it is easier for the key to be ascertained. We can go deep into discussing the hydrocarbon accumulation.
