%X The paper makes a review of the development of intellectual property in China's TCM industry,and associated problems. Author believes that China's TCM industry has enjoyed a sustained annual increase of its total output, and so has the number of intellectual properties the industry has produced.Unfortunately, the two are not closely associated, nor well matched. China's TCM industry has something obviously not in line with the creation,utilization, management, and protection of TCM IP,in terms of the industry's scale, IP awareness and application, R&D expenditure, policies, market protection, and intermediary service. This means a tailored policy is needed for a better TCM IP management.
