%X cDNA fragments,encoding HMGR,IPPI and FPS in Bupleurum chinense DC.were amplified by RT-PCR with the total RNA of the young roots as a template,cDNA fragments of HMGR (GenBank accession no.EU400217),IPPI (EU400218),and FPS (EU400219) were 470bp,532bp,466bp in length,encoding 157,177,155 amino acids respectively.The deduced amino acid sequence of cDNA encoding HMGR,IPPI and FPS showed the highest amino acid identity to E.ulmoides (93%),B.falcatum (99%),and C.asiatica (97%) respectively.The deduced amino acid...
