%X In this paper, two kinds of self designed apparatuses used in magnetoreological fluids test are described and compared with each other, and with some commercial products from abroad. The comparison shows that, among the two apparatuses, the device of rotating disk type is accurate and reliable, but the other one, which is of pipe flowing type, exhibits some inherent inadequacy.
