%X Proteomics is abranch of systematic biology. It and Chinese traditional medicine share similar profile in integration and system. Therefore,proteomic methodologies could be applied for the study of the material basis of TCM syndrome essence and the anti-disease mechanism of Chinese traditional medicine by high-throughput approach for the experimental evidences to clinic therapy and novel drug designing. Recently,proteomics has been becoming a new tool for an understanding of disease's molecular mechanism,drug efficiency and immunity related to Chinese traditional medicine, The progress of proteomics will pave the way for the application of system medicine in Chinese traditional medicine.
