%X From the high-tech point of view, this paper suggests that the modernization of production of Chinese medicinal materials should be started with the research on cultivation system and mode,engineering techniques for botanical cell culture, and breeding of Chinese medicinal herbs. On this basis a study is to be sped up on the modernized production system and standardized production mode, so as to turn out Chinese herbal medicines of stable curative effect and high active component contents, as well as bring forth new products of herbal medicine.
