%X Measurement of residual stress at notch root and crack tip can be realized with a precise setting device for specimen and a X-ray of small beam size and high intensity. A-goniometer with specimen aligning system is designed to measure the residual stresses at the root of notch which islmm in radius. Residual stress distributions along the depth of notch root after shot peening and at the crack tip after push-push loading were datermined.
