%X Experimental study on cavitation in water tunnel is restricted by many factors. As a complement, study on ventilated cavitation is worth considering. In this paper, a water tunnel investigation on ventilated cavitation for slender body at small angles of attack is reported. The shape of cavity, the base pressure and the steady hydrodynamic forces and moments on the slender axisymmetric body are examined in detail in the experiment. Some results are compared with the measurement and calculation for nature cavitation.
