%X After summarizing the extensive use of herbal extracts in the traditional Chinese Medicine domestically and abroad, the article points out the factors that rein the modernization of the traditional Chinese medicine and affirms the important role of herbal extracts in the modernization of the Traditional Chinese Medicine.
