%X By analyzing the present Superiorities in Hainan Province this article P roposes a few measures for the develo pment of modern industries of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) in the province,such as the developm ent of the stacdadization and modernizatio n of TCM,the recrui tment of high -level researchers in T CM,the development towards OTC mark et,the establishment of gene pools and d atabases of tropical medicinal plan ts,the attracting of foreign investment and the establishment of the system for the i nvestment in scientific research,i n the hope that modern industries of TCM would grow vigorously in the province.
