%X Two-dimensional LDA system is used to measure turbulent velocity field in a continuous casting mould with four nozzles.Its velocity distribution and turbulent characteris- tics are studied.The statistical bias of velocity is also discussed and the conditions,whether the measuring data should be subjected to bias correction or not,are presented.This investigation provides an important and essential basis for studying temperature field and impurity distribu- tion.This can also referred for further improving the mould design and control system.
