%X Resistance performance of oblique penetration/impact for a granite-reinforced concrete composite target was experimentally studied based on ball firing. Results show that this type of target has good anti-penetration/impact performance. Comparing with common reinforced concrete target with the same thickness and under the conditions of same projectile shooting characteristics and same impact parameters, the projectile penetration depth into this type of target is shorter, which indicates that it has stronger anti-penetration/impact performance. Punching shear damage is the main damage for thin target slab. Therefore, reinforcement of the ability of resisting punching shear damage will increase the capacity of resisting projectile penetration. The local action and the whole response of a target have strong coupling, when projectile impacting speed is not high. This type of granite-reinforced concrete composite structure has both local rigidity and whole plasticity, which explain the fine ability to resisting projectile penetration. This structure have good application foreground for simple construction, easy material availability and low cost.
