%X In order to study the vortex-induced vibration(VIV) characteristics of fluid transporting risers with different mass ratio and subjected to marine current,modal tests of VIV were conducted in a large wave-current flume.In experiment,four different mass ratio model risers were attached vertically to the supporting structure and acted by external current with different velocities.The top of riser was subjected to tensile force.Six averagely distributed measuring stations are equipped along the cylinder riser ...
