%X The modernization of the traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) must begin with the production of it. In this process, the quality of medicinal materials is the key link, which plays an important role in research, clinical practice, and the production of preparations as well as international trade of TCM. To solve this problem the management system in the cultivation, collection, purchase, preparation, supply and sale of Chinese medicinal crops should be strengthened and improved in order to realize another big leap in the industry of medicinal materials.
