%X Longitudinal Vortex can be generated in a flow channel with mounted Vortex Generators (VGS). The heat exchanging effect for the air flowing through a heating surface is investigated in the channel while keeping Re number in the range of 800 to 8000.The heating surface temperature distribution is measured by a IR camera. Result shows that the device is ideal. When Re equals to 6000, the average heat transfer coefficient of the heating surface reaches 50.8%.
