The effect of long-rod projectile's striking velocity and steel fiber volume fraction on SFRC's anti-penetration performance was investigated, respectively. Experimental results show that as the striking velocity increasing, the penetration depth increases for all SFRC with different steel fiber volumes. But the increase of SFRC penetration depth is slower than that of plain concrete, which indicates that the steel fiber can considerably enhance the penetration resistance of concrete. As the steel fiber volume fraction increasing, the penetration distance decreases remarkably and penetration depth decreases accordingly. Above results be used for the design of defence project and warhead project. %K mechanics of impact %K steel fibre reinforced concrete (SFRC) %K long-rod projectile %K normal penetration %K experimental study
