%X Dioxin-like polychlorinated biphenyls (DlPCBs), as typical environmental endocrine disruptors, can interfere in endocrine functions of the exposed living individuals and their offsprings, demonstrating neurotoxicity, immunotoxicity, and especially reproductive toxicity. For instance, DlPCBs can damage the reproductive organs in morphology and function, the original germ cells and their fertilization, and the early embryonic development, which lead to various reproductive diseases in living things. Due to their bioaccumulation and semi-volatility, DlPCBs can distribute extensively in the whole environment, while their long half-life make them easily accumulated in organisms, which can cause unpredictable influences on the health and survival of animals and human beings. The present paper reviewed advances in DlPCBs studies in terms of their classification, general characteristics, reproductive toxicities and the possible toxicological pathogenic mechanism and then pointed out the prospect of the study on the reproductive toxicology of DlPCBs.
