%X This paper was on the change of microbial community diversity after CdSO4 and CuSO4 and the tolerant-cadmium and tolerant-copper strain J5(Pseudomonas sp.)added in cadmium-copper contaminated mine tailings in Tongling in Anhui province by PCR-DGGE. General microorganism DNA could be extracted directly from the tailing soil samples by the enzyme-chemistry method. The results showed that the size of DNA was about 21kb. The DNA content was little in mine soil without any plant covered and the content of general DNA would decline in the tailing soil treated by CdSO4. While the content of general DNA would rise by the tolerant-cadmium and tolerant-copper strain J5 ferment liquid added in the tailing soils. DGGE electrophoresis figure showed that the strips reduced treated by CdSO4. It was implied the number of bacteria reduced. While strain J5 was added in the tailing soils, it could improve native microbial activity and community richness. The decline of soil microbial community functional diversities would be prevented in polluted soils. Our study provides an available approach to quickly resume mine-tailings areas contaminated by multi-heavy metal with strain J5 added.
