%X Effects of MC and LC asbotos on erythrocyte membrane lipid and protein labeled with 5NS,16NS and MSL respctively were studied. The adults delnonstlatal that both kinds of chrysotile could incite rnelnbrane rigidity at the depth of 5 and 16 carbons, indicating a decas of inelnbrane fluidity,and also altered the confonnation of cane proteins. The effects of chrysotile were dose dependent. Chrysotile fibers treated with aluminium citrated showed a weaker effect than the untreated.
