The typical substances-surfactants, radical and metallic chiral complexes caused regular changes of membrane electrical parameters. The specific interaction between the reassembled type-B human erythrocyte membranes and its ligand, anti-B monoclonal antibody, caused a rapid decrease in membrane resistance(Rm) and membrane breakdown finally. The magnitude of Rm decrease is positively related to the amount of antibody added. This suggests that BLM can be a useful instrument to study drug-membrane interaction and drug permeation, by measuring and analyzing its electrical parameters. %K Bilayer lipid membranes(BLM) %K Membrane electrical properties %K Surfactant %K Hydroxyl radical %K Metallic chiral complexes %K Receptor-ligand interacti
