It is shown that two coupled chaotic neurons with simple inhibition can synchronize out of phase when the coupling strength is above a certain critical value. At the same time, two chaotic neurons exhibit periodic bursting motions instead of the original chaotic ones. However, with the conduction delay being considered, in-phase bursting synchronization of two neurons can be enhanced under an efficient conduction delay. The size of windows, in which bursting synchronization is enhanced, increases with the coupling strength Hsyn. This result may be a guideline to understand collective motions in neurons. %K Neuron %K Synaptic coupling %K Inhibition %K Synchronization %K Bursting
