%X Polystyrene microspheres (PS) were successfully prepared by suspension polymerization processes. Chloroacetylated polystyrene has been prepared by Friedel-Crafts acetylation of PS with chloroacetyl chloride. In this report,carcinogenic compound (chloromethylether etc.) was avoided.
