%X The support vector machine (SVM) is a new learning machine based on the statistical learning theory. An SVM based method of epilepsy feature extraction and recognition is proposed. The data analysis shows that the SVM is very robust in identification of spike and sharp waves compared with that in back-propagation neural network method.
