%X The membrane lipids in native porcine heart mitochondrial H - ATPase complex play very important roles in the effect of Mg2 on the complex. By using DPH as a fluorescent probe and 5-NS ESR probe to detect the change of surface layer of membrane affected by Mg2 , we found that effect of Mg2 could turn the membrane lipids in order. The results of the polarization of the intrinsic fluorescence of TU particle and the complex showed that the effect of Mg2 on membrane could induce the conformational change of Fo, and then in turn to affect the F1. The original state of membrane lipids (the components and physical state) related closely to the effect of Mg2 .
