%X The conditions of determination of SOD activity method by ESR using the spin trap method were discussed, and a new method established has been used for measuring SOD activity in healthy person, tumor patients or others. The results showed that serum SOD activity in tumor patients had much high level and in some diseases were higher than healthy person also, the significant statistic differance had been found among the groups. Comparing the testing results with chemiluminescence method, it indicated that ESR method had better specificity.
