%X Dynamic light scattering (DLS)is a powerful tool to study properties of biological macromolecules in solutions. DLS studies of lysozyme,as model protein, have shown that the protein concentration in a certain rangs does not influence the aggregation property obviously, but the salt, acting as preciptant, may affect the polydispersity greatly. Taking these results into account, the sample quality was investigated for some proteins to be used in space crystallization experiments. This may be a good way to improve samples in order to increase the success rate of protein crystallzation in space.
