It was observed that the silver-stained proteins in chromosomes existed as granules, different in size and amount and unever in distribution. The large granules took the shape of dots and some small granules were in dots or short fibres as well. These results indicated that a nonhistone protein scaffold really existed and distributed as granules and fibres over the whole chromosomes. %K Triticum aestivum L Chromosomes Nonhistone Protein Image aualysis
