%X The spectral properties of the descending interneurons in honeybee.were studied with extracellular electrophysiological recording method.Light stimulus elicited strong On-and off-Responses,and the inthsities of On-and or Responses were related to the wavelength of the stimulating light. Through analyzing 37 samples, it is found that some descending interneurons are broad band and multichromatic, some are narrow band. The most sensitive differ among the On-and off- responses of seven kinds of internuruons.
