Long-term potentiation (LTP) was. for the first time, elicited in the deep division of the Superior Colliculus by the tetanic stimulation of 100Hz for 1s . The blocking effect of D, L-amino-5-phosphonovalerate (APV) . a selective antagonist for N-methyl-D-aspartate (NMDA) receptor, on LTP indicated that the NMDA receptors were not only involved in initiation but also in maintenance of LTP in the deep collicular division of the rat. The amplitudes of PSPs were declined by APV or kynurenic acid (KYNA) . a relatively non - selective antagonist for three types of the excitatory amino acid (EAA) receptors; and facilitated to enhance by bicuculline (Bicu) . an antagonist for A type of r-amino butyric (GABA) receptors, suggesting glutamatergic neurotransmitters play an important role in the excitatory synaptic transmission within the deep collicular division, which is modulated by the inhibitory GABAergic synapses. %K 上丘深层部 %K 脑片 %K 突触传递 %U http://www.alljournals.cn/get_abstract_url.aspx?pcid=90BA3D13E7F3BC869AC96FB3DA594E3FE34FBF7B8BC0E591&jid=E0C9D9BBED813D6674AC13E942EAC86D&aid=31A05CF781B27B0522D92A71187D5D92&yid=D418FDC97F7C2EBA&vid=9CF7A0430CBB2DFD&iid=38B194292C032A66&sid=65C08888CCE4801E&eid=BA48F0B914ED890A&journal_id=1000-6737&journal_name=生物物理学报&referenced_num=2&reference_num=0
