%X The effects of food and environmental factors on the reproductive rate of Para nophrys carcini spiralis were studied in this paper. Shrimp gravy and peptone solution were used as culture medium for P. carcini spiralis. It was found that P. carcini spiralis multiplied in both media and grew well in peptone solution.Single factor experiments were used firstly to investigate the effects of temperature, salin ity, and pH value on the intrinsic rate of increase of P. carcini spiralis.
