周立阳 %A 高增祥 %A 李典谟 %J 生态学报 %D 2001 %I %X The prospect of forecasting population dynamics on insect pests was discussed.The related theories on non\|linear dynamics,landscape ecology,bio\|geographic statistics,Meta\|population and ecosystem connection were described.The new advanced technologies,which could be applied on studying population dynamics of insect pests,such as Radar observation,geographic information system,global position system,remote sensing,visualization system and decision support system,were also explored.The above theories and technologies will be an important basis on studying population dynamics of insect pests,and it will be helpful on guiding insect pests control on crops production. %K non\|linear dynamics %K spatial and temporal heterogeneity %K ecosystem connection
