%X 1. Woody plants play an important role in absorbing and accumulating heavy metal pollutants (lead, cadmium, copper, and zinc) from the atmosphere. The maximum of heavy metal pollutants absorbed by some of trees around the smelter within a moth comes to 2000 ppm approximately.
