The results show that the carbon density of branches and leaves of different ages varied with the season in the following order: winter>autumn>summer>spring. The average foliar carbon density was 0.5044 gC·g~(-1) with a coefficient of variation of 2.08%. The average carbon density for branches was 0.4479 gC·g~(-1) with a coefficient of variation of 2.25%.
