%X Due to the complex dynamic processes of estimating the sustainability of urban ecosystems and of exploring strategies for their sustainable development,dynamic simulation methods are needed.The Sensitivity Model developed by German Scientists Prof.F.Vester and Dr.A.v.Hesler on the basis of system science,biocybernetics and urban planning methods,which can be used to illustrate,simulate,evaluate and plan the complex relationships within an urban ecosystem,is a good method for simulating urban ecosystems.The authors improved the Sensitivity Model in their collaboration with prof.F.Vester and Dr.A.v.Hesler.The improved Sensitivity Model provides a new way of thinking for estimating the sustainability and exploring the strategies for sustainable development of urban ecosystems.
