%X Trend of dispersion or aggregation of Hibernating larvae of Chinese-pine caterpillar was enuncited by measuring indices of aggregation from the beginning to the end through up the tree, the indices of aggregation were obtained by tree sampling, ring sampling and branch sampling. Then, the changing trend of dispersion or aggregation can be traited using Lloyd's method (1967) and harmonic analysis.
