%X High pressure bioscience an d biotechnology, as a novel subject, started from applied technology, ex pands to basic bioscience in related fields including biochemistry, cel l biology and molecular biology. Pressure, a fundamental thermodynamic parameter, influences to some biological processes, such as changes of protein structure and function, cell metabolism and gene expression et c. Study of pressure biological effect with scientific methods and equ ipments could help to understand life phenomena better.
