The neuronal information integration properties were investigated by means of branch morphological model and voltage-gated ion channel kinetic models, including the transient K channel. The results show that the voltage level of distal dendritic spikes is graded in a large range of input intensity, the initiation site of action potential can shift along the apical dendrite, and the amplitude of the back-propagating spike can decrease abruptly when it reaches the distal dendrite. %K Neuronal model %K Dendrite %K Graded dendritic spike %K Transient potassium channel
