%X The electrode was inseted into Fallopian's canal of Guinea Pigs lasting a long time during the study. The AP(N1) latency in awake Guinea Pigs exposed to white noise or 2.83 KHz tone with various time and intensity was observed systematically. The results shoed that the statistical prolongation of AP(N1) latency in respouse to click and tone bursts after exposure could used as an ideal index of early assessment of PTS (permanent threshold shifting).
