%X The mutation effect of Hypoerellin A on CHO Cell was studied by analysis of the mutantdefedn in Na+/K+ATPase gene induce by HA photosensidrition and then selected byouabain. The result shoal that HA photosensithation has the ability to cause cell DNA pointmutation and the mutant remains stable following propagation in the absence of ouabain. Thisis conirmed by enzyme assay. Further the analysis of lipid peroxidation deggree of CHO Celltreated with different condition of HA and light together with the observation of thefluousere of DNA-lipid peroxidation products suggests that the lipid peroxidation causedby HA photosensithation plays an important role in the Cell DNA damage and gene mutation.
