%X This paper deals with the adaptation of Microgrid and Electric Vehicle (EV) concepts to grid standards related to power quality. It presents a review of recent progress on power quality standards including standards on converters and Electric Vehicles. Power quality issues and relevant standards taking into account the operation of Electric Vehicles are examined for interconnected and islanded (microgrid) mode of operation. Taking into account results from various research studies including EV connection and microgrid operation but also power quality requirements in various countries, recommendations on the adaptation of microgrid-EV concepts to power quality standards are given.
